We are pleased to announce that between May 5 and 8, 2026, the Bükk Region UNESCO Global Geopark will host the annual meeting of the geoparks of the Visegrad countries (V4).

The staff of the Bükk National Park Directorate and the Hungarian National Geopark Committee are currently working diligently on compiling the detailed program of the meeting.

We are preparing exciting programs during the meeting:
There will be a full-day professional workshop and conference.We are also preparing a full-day field trip, where we will present the diverse landscape features, unique geological values and geoheritage of the Bükk region.We also pay special attention to introducing local products and craft traditions.The organizing team is looking forward to welcoming as many domestic and international colleagues as possible to the Bükk region in May!
