Survival tour at the Miocene Park

Theme for the brave: Spiritual adventure of diving in the past from the Bükkábrány trees of the Pannonian lake through a supervolcanic eruption devastated rainforest to prehistoric sharks of a shallow sea at the Fossils of Ipolytarnoc, which is the main gateway to the Novohrad-Nograd UNESCO Global Geopark..

A survival tour is organized by the Bükk National Park Directorate and leads to a vanished era through the tactile exhibitions of the Ancient Pine Visitor Centre, to the Bükkábrány trees, and then to the world-famous excavations of the geological trail after escaping from the dangers of the Miocene forest.

Magyarországon 1991 óta tartozik a jeles napok sorához az Állatok Világnapja, melyet világszerte október 4-én, Assisi Szent Ferenc halálának napján tartanak. Idén az Állatok Világnapját az Állatvédelmi Témahét keretében tartjuk október első hetében, amikor a Bükki Nemzeti Park Igazgatóság területén élő védett állatokra fókuszálunk. Kulturális Örökség Napjai - Speciális hosszú túra a Szent István-barlangban

Idén is csatlakozunk a Kulturális Örökség Napjai elnevezésű, nagyszabású nemzetközi eseményhez, melynek célja, hogy felhívja a figyelmet Európa gazdag és változatos kulturális örökségére. Ezen alkalmakkor számos országban egyszerre nyitják meg kapuikat azok a helyszínek, amelyek általában zárva vannak a nagyközönség előtt. A programsorozathoz kapcsolódva szeptember 21-én (szombat) és 22-én (vasárnap) 9:00 órakor Igazgatóságunk különleges hosszú túrát indít a lillafüredi Szent István-barlangban. A program keretein belül a fokozottan védett barlang olyan részeit mutatjuk meg a látogatóknak, amelyek bejárására a rendszerint induló túrák alkalmával nincs lehetőség.
