The staff of the Ipolytarnóc Fossils will collect the rubbish on the access roads of the area in honor of the Earth Day and will celebrate the famous event with a special thematic tour.
On Earth Day, visitors can travel from the Bükkábrány trees of Lake Pannon through a volcanic disaster to an ancient sea full of with megalodon sharks and can experience the dynamically changing past at the Fossils.
A survival tour opening into a faded world gives an insight into the past through the tactile exhibitions of the Ancient Pine Visitor Center to the trees of Bükkábrány, and then to the world-famous excavations of the geological study trail while crossing the Miocene forest. The program is one of the traditional programs of the Novohrad-Nógrád UNESCO Global Geopark and the Bükk National Park Directorate.A link to access the last year's event.
